Project Description

This article contant all the information about Cyber Security Expert Job In NADRA. The Pakistani government has previously received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) for the Digital Economy Enhancement Project (DEEP). Some of this funding will be dedicated towards consulting services, which are being handled by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).

The role of Legal Cyber Security Expert under DEEP is now open for applications. This position is on a fixed monthly salary scale, for an initial contract of one year, expected to be extended, depending on project needs and consultant performance. Providing expert-level advice and services delivered with the highest integrity and professionalism

Responsibilities

Acting as the Project Implementing Unit (PIU placed under NADRA), the consultant is expected to express interest in this position. The consultant will be involved with the following aspects of the legal issues of cybersecurity, including but not limited to:

Drafting and modification of legal instruments, including rules and regulations for the projects funded from foreign sources.

Advisory on Cybersecurity policies that are consistent with the World Bank policies, the Government of Pakistan’s requirements and global standards

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:

Educational Background:

  • Master’s in Laws (LLM), preferably in cybercrime or cybersecurity laws, from a Higher Education Commission (HEC)-recognized university.
  • Foreign degrees must include an equivalence certificate from HEC.

Professional Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field, with at least 3 years as a cybersecurity expert or advisor for international projects.
  • Proven experience in managing cybersecurity aspects for projects funded by organizations like the World Bank.

Skills:

  • Interventions on the legal aspects of Public Private Partnership (PPP) contracts, World Bank Policies, and Government Policies.
  • Legal research capacity and the ability to make sense of legislation, rules, and regulations.
